Since 1917, U.G. White Mercantile has been an institution in Northern Alabama. Our general store was started by a farmer for farmers, and since then, has grown to offer quality goods, fair prices and impeccable service to a growing clientele of cotton mill workers, business folk, homesteaders, candy-lovers, coffee drinkers, honey tasters, back packers, pickle pickers and everyone in between.
